Basement
The basement is about two thirds nicely finished family room and one third work space including the laundry area that looked like a great space for my glass shop. So I immediately set about building shelves to properly hold all my glass, glass tools and supplies that were installed tucked away behind the furnace and hot water heater after we moved the more generic basement shelves to the garage. Then I added a bunch more shelving and lights to the area where the magic happens. The work area had a sump pump that had worked fine for many years but I wanted a more reliable system for when we were away so I learned about inverters, battery back-up, and stacked pumps.
