Travel Projects: Karen’s honey-do list
We fly to visit Karen, but luckily her neighbors have a decent stock of tools and Allen greatly improved her supply. She always has a short list of projects that need a little help. Then in 2026 she moved to Virginia Beach in time for us to stop on our spring trip and help her get settled.

When we got to Karen's new house on our spring trip in 2026 she had decided to replace most of the lighting. So a new kitchen fan and light.
New fan and light in livingroom.
New fan and light in guestroom.
New light in dining room.
Several new flush mount lights in hallways.
New pendant light in kitchen tracks and replaced fluorescents with LED tubes after removing ballast.
New track heads in study.
New motion sensor in laundry.
Mounts for remote controls for fans.
Added peep hole to entry door.
To finish things off we hung her picture of Tralee bay from the Connor pass that I had framed in stained glass years ago. We also told her she wasn't to plan on moving again any time soon.
